Criteria for publication
microPublication Biology will only accept experiments or analyses that are of high quality, well described, and appropriately interpreted. Each submission must be accompanied with reagents, resources, tools and methodologies that were used to generate the result. Submitted results are original, or can replicate or fail to replicate a previously published finding. Submissions will only be published after approval through peer review.
microPublication Biology follows the authorship guidelines of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE).
All authors share responsibility for the content of the microPublication.
In the case of the laboratory head where the research was conducted is not an author, the laboratory head must sign-off on the microPublication. Authors should accept the conditions in the disclaimer at the bottom of the form.
Individuals who do not satisfy authorship guidelines but participated materially in the work, should be included in the acknowledgement section.
